Toto, I don't think we're in Boston anymore....

Well kiddies the unthinkable happened tonight in the fact that the Red Sox were swept here in Kansas City. The fact that the Royals were throwing Runelvys Hernandez, yes that same Hernandez who walked nine twins in 4-plus innings in his last start, against 14-winner Curt Schilling would certainly appear to have the makings of a long bleak night for the local boys however the Red Sox did not disappoint in finding a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Losing five straight including two losses to Tampa Bay before being swept by the Royals points to the stark reality that the Sox season is over. I did already mention in previous posts that the Red Sox season is over right?

Well what do you know, even a broken clock is right twice a day. So, I guess even the Royals can pull off a sweep, at least once a season. Too bad the Red Sox dropped a log playing the wretched Royals. Does it get any worse for the Sox. I mean, to lose to a team whose 1st basemen is named Shelly and a starting pitcher that was (at the beginning of the season) sent down to the minors because he was to FAT. Come on, that is just silly. Where is Johnny Damon when you need him. You such Chowder Head. And your Royals are a bunch of Numb Nuts.

Hmmm, numb nuts. I think they are a soccer team in the over 30's men soccer league in a particular kansas city suburb. Johnny Damon couldn't even help that team. Unless he could catch because lord knows Javy Lopez is not a catcher. On Hernandez, Runelvys has done a wonderful job of working himself into playing shape. Granted playing shape for the Kansas City Chiefs Defensive Line but hey it is playing shape nonetheless.
