Strange Night in Baseball

What in the heck is going on tonight in the MLB. Mariano blew a rare save opportunity tonight by giving up a home run to Paul Konerko. It seems like a full moon kind of baseball season when the american league central is the best division in baseball. Who would have thunk it. Hopefully the Bombers can still pull it out as it in extra innings. The Red Sox appear to be on the verge of losing to the local boys in blue. The twinkies beat the Tigers. The good news is that if the Royals hold on the Red Sox will fall out of their tie for first in the wild card race. Strike that optimism on the Royals, Burgos is in and ready to blow the ballgame. Oh well.

    George,

When will you accept that the Royals (since 1985) have sucked. Go back to those beautiful New England States and enjoy a bowl full of chowder. You chowder head!

Well it certainly looks like as much as the Royals have sucked since 1985 they are still good enough to sweep those east coast patsies out of town
